On October 17, 2026 voters in BC will elect mayors, councilors, area directors, school trustees and others to fill four-year terms on municipal councils, regional district boards, school boards, and other public organizations.

A key recommendation in the Board of Education's 10-year Facility Plan was to advocate the Ministry of Education for a possible new Cedar Elementary School building. We are hoping to build community excitement and support as we lobby the Ministry of Education for approval and project funding.
